Fear not the Strapless bra
Correct size
Naturally a poor fitting bra is torture. Therefore, it is recommended that you get measured for your strapless bra. Of course there are some of you that won't do this. My advice is, when buying a strapless bra, you should size down in the band and up in the cup. You must remember the band will be the only means of support. It has to be snug to keep the breasts up.
Of course your number one fear is your bra heading south. To help prevent this you need the bra to stick to your skin as much as possible. Keep your skin clean. Don't use any beauty products such as creams or oils. Also, try to look for styles that have sticky features like silicone or a rubber grippy band on the inside seam. Silicone inside the cups of a strapless bra will give extra stay-up support.
Look for well constructed bras. The construction should feature a wider band, three hooks in the back, and extra support through the cups. This is a must for the well endowed girl. A smaller girl could get away with two hooks.
If you are still fearful, try a longline style. This will give you some support from below the chest. It's the straps that offer support. With a longline bra, the band extends all the way to the waist for maximum lift.
After investing in a good strapless bra, you'll need to properly care for it. An underwire or sturdy bra should always be hand washed. Air dry them with the cups facing upwards.
Now that you know more about strapless bras, here are some good ones to purchase.
